Under 16s team and coach Paul Lord |
The Under 16s celebrated a highly successful season with their Presentation Evening at the clubhouse. In a season where the team won the Wakefield Cup for the fifth consecutive year and were the BARLA National Winners for the Under 16s, ten of the squad have signed professionally - a fantastic achievement. These are:
George Lord - Wakefield Trinity Wildcats
Sam Blake - Wakefield Trinity Wildcats
Liam Senior - Wakefield Trinity Wildcats
Morgan Smith - Warrington Wolves
Matty English - Huddersfield Giants
Billy Hayes - Huddersfield Giants
Lewis Heckford - Wigan Warriors
Callum Field - Wigan Warriors
Harry Boyes - Leeds Rhinos
Harry Morland - Castleford Tigers
The hard work and commitment of the boys, coach Paul Lord, manager Julia Lord, helpers, families and supporters over the last few years was recognised at the evening presentation.
Award winners last night were -
Top Tackler - Matty English, 2nd George Lord, 3rd Callum Field
Top try scorer - Morgan Smith, 2nd Liam Senior, 3rd Harry Boyes, Harry Morland and Billy Hayes.
Achievement award for England Youth Representation 2014 - Morgan Smith, Lewis Heckford and Matthew England.
