Stanley Rangers hopes of making the play-offs were dealt a blow after they slipped to a 20-12 defeat at Castleford Panthers.
The win means the Panthers are just a point away from safety and came thanks to touchdowns from Ben Savage, Matthew Bacon, Jake Ward and Tom Strong. Wayne Hardy and Ward added a goal each.
Stanley replied with three first half efforts from Joel Marsh, Carl Hughes and Charles Ellis.
The Conference Man of the Match was Carl Hughes.
This weekend's game - 6th September - is at home to Ovenden.
