The Aussies are coming! The ABK Beer Ashes Series will begin on October 25th at Wembley, followed by November 1st at Everton's new Hill Dickinson Stadium and finally at Headingley on November 8th at the AMT Headingley Stadium.

The matches will be shown at Stanley Sports and Social Club, so come on down and watch some great rugby!

OWEN TROUT IN THE ENGLAND SQUAD

Congratulations to Owen Trout whose form for Leigh Leopards has given him a place in the England squad for the ABK Beer Ashes Series. Owen began his playing career with Stanley Rangers with his brother Kyle and subsequently played for Leeds Academy, Dewsbury Rams, Featherstone Rovers and Huddersfield Giants before moving on to his present club Leigh Leopards.

UNDER 14s IN YORKSHIRE CUP SEMI-FINAL

The Under 14s will be playing at home in the semi-final of the BARLA Yorkshire Cup Under 14s against York Acorn on Sunday 2nd November. The kick off time is to be announced.

FINAL GAME OF THE SEASON FOR THE MASTERS

The final game of the 2025 season for the Masters team will be on Saturday 18th October at home against Doncaster Toll Bar, kick off at 2pm. It will be followed by the presentation evening for the Masters in the Clubhouse.

GIRLS CHALLENGE 2025 - UPDATE

The original plan on Saturday 4th October of the Stanley Rangers Girls team had been to pull a truck along the length of the playing field but thanks to the weather this has had to be called off. However...in true Stanley Rangers style a new plan has been made!

The girls will now carry out their new challenge of pulling the van up the driveway at the clubhouse, over those pesky speed bumps and along the car park to hopefully reach their goal of getting the van onto the field. Come along at 10am and also enjoy hot drinks and butties while you watch. Contact Becky Harrison Thresh if you would like to sponsor or for more information.

Huge well done to our Under 14s for becoming the Wakefield District Cup winners for the third year in a row. Well done boys! Now on to the next round of the Barla Cup in a few weeks time.
