Eccles 24 v Stanley Rangers 24

In a closely-fought game, Stanley Rangers came away with a 24-all draw at Eccles.
In the first half, tries by Joel Marsh and Sam Rothery and a Billy Griffiths goal gave Rangers 10 points at half time with Eccles scoring the same thanks to tries by Louis Taylor and Ben Wheeler and a goal from Andrew Musdat.
In the second half it was Eccles who went ahead with tries by Taylor, Richard Openshaw and a second Muscat goal but in the final quarter Rangers fought back with unanwered tries by Liam Crawley, Joel Marsh and James Senkiw, Griffiths adding his second goal.
Ths weekend - 10th August - Rangers are at home to third place Hunslet Warriors.
