Man of the Match Joel Marsh opened the scoring for Stanley Rangers which heralded their first home win of the season with a 36-20 win over Stanningley.

The first half saw Rangers score an unanswered 30 points with tries from Joel Marsh, Craig Williamson (2), Craig Rhodes and Liam Crawley (2). Williamson also kicked three goals.

However the second half saw Stanningley fight back with tries from Joe Ugarte and Tom Sharp. Rangers' Jon Gledhill answered back with a try on the hour. The game's final two tries came from the visitors with Dean Parker and Ugarte crossing the whitewash but it was too late to rescue the score.

This coming weekend - 21st April - Rangers cross the Pennines to take on Wigan St Judes.

Stanley: Tries - Marsh, Williamson (2), Rhodes, Crawley (2), Gledhill. Goals - Grice (1), Williamson (3).

Stanningley: Tries - Ugarte (2), Sharp, Parker. Goals - Halliday (2).
