Stanley Rangers promotion hopes were laid to rest when they traveled to Stanningley but were defeated 30-12.

Stanningley got off to a flying start with a first-minute try from stand-off Liam Duffy but Stanley replied with a try from Oiver Wood, converted by Danny Grice. Stanningley responded straight away with an unconverted try from Glynn. Hargreaves added another try, goaled by Duffy, but Stanley fought back with a try from Shaun Abson, converted by Grice which kept the game in the balance with Stanningley only leading 14-12 at the break.

In the second half, Jackie Hogan led Stanley forward but Stanningley's Robinson crossed the line and Duffy improved giving the home side the edge. A further try from White, goaled by Duffy on the 67th minute and Rangers' hopes were dashed when Wray claimed a last-minute try.

Stanley travel to Oulton Raiders on Tuesday 19th for an evening game against top-of-the-table Oulton Raiders. Kick off is 7.00pm.
