In the first half a single unconverted try from Joel Walsh and a successfully converted try from Newsome made the half time score 4-6 to Newsome Panthers.

The second half saw Rangers come back with further tries from Charlie Roche, Josh Cassar and Jack Ledger with 2 goals by Danny Ansell which made the final score 20-6 to Rangers. (Coincidentally the same score in the last game between these two teams in June).
