In the closest of matches, Rangers just lost out to Fryston Warriors 28-32 on the Friday evening game.

In the first half, tries from Liam Gaunt, Charile Roche and Jack Ledger, along with two conversions by Liam Gaunt saw Rangers go in at half time with a 16-10 lead. In the second half, Fryston Warriors fought back and despite further tries from Jake Lord and Liam Grimmett as well as two conversions by Liam Gaunt, Fryston Warriors just edged the win with a try to make it 32-28 to the home side.
