Directions: Take junction32 sign posted Pontefract and Castleford. Turn right (back under moterway) to Pontefract. Follow the road alongside the racecourse, you will come to a set of traffic lights. Go through the lights, the road then becomes a dual carriage way, stay in the left hand lane until you hit the next set of traffic lights. Go through the double set of lights going straight over to the road signposted A639 Barnlsey. At the brow of the hill the road bears right you need to take the turn off left sign posted Darrington (Bollards at this junction). Take the first left off this road (Swanhill Lane). Stay on this road over a cross road until you reach the round-a-bout, take the 2nd exit which brings you to a large round-a-bout (The Circle) with a building in the centre, go round the round-a-bout untill you see the Chequerfield Hotel.
